Just like you (I'm sure), from the time I was 5 years old, I was a continuous pain in my parents backside. "Sign me up for Hockey"; "Let's go to the rink" - and similar rantings.

Of course, parents being parents, and with their help I finally started to live my dream. That support role from my parents was the impetus of what turned out to be 30 years of playing hockey. Well, I never did make the NHL, and frankly few do, but I nonetheless had my cup of tea at the semi-pro levels and perhaps more importantly, I grew in many ways that have had a very positive effect on my life.

Parents and family alike play the very important role of supporter in both your hockey life and your life in general. Hockey brings with it many joyous victories, enormous challenges and its fair share of adversity. Your parents are watching all this from the sidelines without interference or nervous medling, but they are there and you should seek their wisdom if you feel you need it.

My role is that of a mentor to help guide you in the direction that's best for you and your hockey career. Each and everyone of you has a unique situation of your own; my job is to determine your skills, potential and how you will best benefit from your investment in our Hockey Player Placement Program.

While I can't promise you a career in the NHL scoring goals or stopping them for the Flyers, Canucks or Leafs, I can assure you that our program will give you the opportunity to both enjoy this great game and show your full potential.

2. On ice assessment at your location
3. Off ice assessment (Dry land training etc...)
4. Set a plan in motion
5. Arrange for tryouts and training camps
6. Arrange and advise on what team to sign with
7. Contact with applicable scouting staffs
8. Conduct on ice, game assessments
9. Coaches assessment form and Meeting with your Coach
10. Adjust plan as needed
11. End of season assessment
12. Planning ahead
